"Working with people to protect nature"

The Corcovado Foundation was created by residents of Corcovado National Park in order to stop illegal hunting and logging. We are a local organization, a leader in conservation that works closely with the ministry of the environment to protect the wild heritage and the future of protected areas. We promote environmental education and defend the rights of local communities. We support sustainable tourism as a tool to protect the incredible treasure that has been given to us, the Osa Peninsula.
